1. Lal Bagh Botanical Garden
Spread across an area of over 240 acres, the LalBagh is not only one of the largest botanical
Gardens in Indian but it is also a unique presence with glasshouses, planned routes, and
Ornamental flowers are growing throughout the area.
It was commissioned by Hyder Ali and completed by his son – Tipu Sultan but that is not the
only reason why it is historically significant. The Garden displays exotic flowers from
countries like Persia, Arabia, Afghanistan, France, etc., which were imported by him for the
first time in India. These imported biological lives can still be witnessed growing here.
Along with the exotic flowers, rare birds such as the pond heron, moorhen, Brahminy kites
can also be found here.
2. Bangalore Palace
The Tudor style Bangalore Palace is a perfect example of the historical heritage of the city
which co exists with the futuristic Silicon Valley of India.
It is a delight for any admirer of classical architecture and artistry with its bright interiors,
kingly grounds, towers and massive courtyards.
3. Jakkur
Who said anything about covering the entire city on foot? The Microlight Flying ride at
Jakkur offers an experience to witness the aerial view of the city, at approx. 40,000 feet up in

4. Kunti Betta
If there is one thing which comes to mind on seeing #wanderlust, it’s hiils, perhaps trekking?
Especially since the pandemic has taught us the importance of health. Trekking Betta is the
perfect place where health and wanderlust meet, taking 3 hours trek to reach an elevation
of 2,882 meters.
5. Bheemeshwari
Situated at a distance of about 100 km on the Kanakapura road from Bangalore, this place is
the “angler’s paradise”. An ideal place for unwinding all that stress away and finding your
inner peace.
